Xàtiva is celebrating a new edition of Fira Borja 2026, an event that showcases the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage through an extensive programme of music, history, tourism, gastronomy, and traditional crafts. The main events will take place on 30 and 31 October and 1, 6, 7, and 8 November.
This year, REDD features in the official imagery and promotional materials for Fira Borja, with Xàtiva identified as a member destination of the Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity. This visibility helps strengthen the association between the REDD brand and the destination, integrating the network into Xàtiva’s tourism promotion activities.
The Fira Borja programme invites visitors to discover the legacy of one of the Renaissance’s most influential families through a variety of venues and experiences. Highlights include the exhibitions “Xàtiva i els Borja” and “Vestint els Borja”, activities at the Espai Borja – Interpretation Centre, guided and theatrical tours, early music concerts, routes through historic sites, and a range of family-friendly activities.
The tourism offering is further enhanced by a craft fair along the Jaume I promenade and a gastronomic programme featuring specially designed menus at participating establishments across Xàtiva. The programme also includes activities exploring some of the city’s most important heritage sites, including the Castle, the Collegiate Basilica of Santa Maria, Sant Feliu, Sant Domènec, and the birthplace of Alexander VI.
REDD’s presence across Fira Borja’s communication channels continues to raise the profile of Xàtiva as a REDD destination, incorporating diversity into the city’s tourism identity and supporting the promotion of a place where heritage, culture, gastronomy, and history come together in a tourism offering that welcomes everyone.
