REDD Arrives in Buenos Aires to Promote Diversity-Inclusive Tourism from Spain

REDD’s participation will showcase Spain’s extensive range of destinations committed to diverse, inclusive tourism that welcomes all travellers to an Argentine audience. During the congress, the network will have its own stand to promote all REDD Destinations, with a particular focus on the Community of Madrid, one of Spain’s leading destinations for LGBTQ+ tourism.

Madrid’s presence will carry special significance, as both the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Council are institutional sponsors of the Gnetwork Buenos Aires Congress, strengthening the international profile of the region and its capital as leading tourism destinations.

Madrid: A Leading Destination for LGBTQ+ Tourism

The Community of Madrid is one of Europe’s most internationally recognised destinations for LGBTQ+ tourism. Its capital, Madrid, combines a wealth of cultural, gastronomic, leisure, and shopping experiences with a long-standing reputation as an open, diverse, and welcoming city.

The Chueca neighbourhood, now one of the world’s most recognised symbols of diversity, is a key highlight of this tourism offering. However, Madrid’s LGBTQ+ experience extends far beyond Chueca, encompassing a rich programme of cultural activities, events, tourism businesses, and leisure experiences designed for an international audience.

The wider Community of Madrid also offers an exceptional variety of tourism experiences, including historical heritage, natural landscapes, gastronomy, charming towns, and a vibrant cultural scene. Visitors can therefore combine the urban experience of the capital with a range of experiences throughout the region.

A Platform to Showcase REDD Destinations

Taking part in Gnetwork Buenos Aires gives REDD an opportunity to strengthen tourism ties between Spain and Argentina and showcase the diverse experiences offered by its member destinations to industry professionals, businesses, and travellers from across Latin America.

The aim is to highlight a diverse, pluralistic Spain that is ready to welcome LGBTQ+ travellers and everyone seeking destinations committed to inclusion and respect for diversity.

JN Global Project will lead the promotional activities in Buenos Aires, overseeing REDD’s presence at the congress and helping raise the international profile of the participating Spanish destinations.

Through its participation in Gnetwork Buenos Aires, REDD is further advancing its internationalisation and promotional strategy, positioning its member destinations at one of Argentina’s and the wider region’s leading tourism and business events.

27–28 September · Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel · Gnetwork Buenos Aires

REDD will bring to Buenos Aires the message of an open, diverse Spain, ready to continue growing as a leading international destination for LGBTQ+ tourism.
