REDD Strengthens Its International Partnerships at the 6th Turespaña Convention 2026 in Zaragoza

The Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity (REDD) took part in the 6th Turespaña Convention 2026, held from 20 to 22 October at the Zaragoza Conference Centre under the theme “Do You Speak Global? International Tourism as a Driver of Transformation”.

During the event, REDD directors Juan Martín Boll and Nano García held a series of professional meetings with representatives of the Spanish Tourist Offices in Frankfurt, Paris, Miami, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Toronto and Copenhagen. The aim was to strengthen institutional relationships and explore new opportunities to promote REDD member destinations internationally.

Participation in the convention also provided an opportunity to deepen ties with representatives of destinations already part of REDD and establish new contacts with other regions, opening up potential avenues for collaboration and future membership in the initiative.

REDD’s representatives also attended the official opening ceremony, along with a range of conferences and professional sessions addressing developments in international tourism markets, international promotion strategies and the sector’s main challenges.

Taking part in this event marks another step forward in REDD’s efforts to raise the profile of Spanish destinations committed to diversity and inclusion, strengthen their position within the tourism sector and expand opportunities for collaboration with national and international tourism institutions and promotional bodies.
