It was one of the first destinations to join REDD Red Española de Destinos por la Diversidad reaffirming its commitment to inclusive tourism. Furthermore, on July 13, 2024, Ávila was filled with color to celebrate the 5th Orgullo (Pride), an event full of excitement, recognition, and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
